Since when did designs for swimming pool areanas become such a hot commodity? Following on the heels of the famous Beijing National Aquatics Center, comes another high profile project from Zaha Hadid. The center features an undulating aluminum ceiling that give the divers a higher ceiling height, while the swimmers have to make do with a slightly lower ceiling over the swimming pools. Everything is organic and the design seems more accessible than some of Zaha's previously aggressive designs. If only the same could be said for her website.
